Thanks to PROIETTA image projectors, it’s possible to illuminate large surfaces and enhance majestic and historic surfaces such as those of medieval abbeys. That’s what was achieved on the facades of the Sacra di San Michele in Italy: a symbol of Christianity that has survived almost intact over the centuries. The mapped projection of a large celebratory flag illuminated the imposing building, making it visible from kilometers away in the valley below. It was a spectacular solution, photographed hundreds of times by both professional and amateur photographers, widely shared on social media, and of interest to news outlets.
