For some years now, Christmas in Forlì (Italy) has shone with its own light thanks to the addition of Christmas-themed projections in the city’s event. Using cutting-edge technologies such as Thorok LED projectors or powerful Impressive 1200-2500W, the scenery of lights, videos, and colors designed by PROIETTA invites visitors to stroll through the square and streets and savor the beauty of the city.
In addition to the more classic mapped projections, two video mapping shows were added (on the town hall and bell tower) with the theme “The Nutcracker”, and then a talking tree fascinated the younger audience with a forest fairy tale.
To create an immersive experience, the video mapping shows had to be perfectly synchronized with the music and sound effects, which required great technical skill from the production team. Moreover, the size of the buildings required the use of advanced technologies, such as high-power projectors and precise control systems, to ensure sharpness and engagement.
The projection on large buildings required careful planning and close collaboration between Proietta and the city entities responsible for the structures, to ensure safety and minimal impact on the city’s historical monuments. The projections enriched the atmosphere and attracted even more visitors to the city, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
