PROIETTA in collaboration with Enel X has colored the Mont Blanc glacier from a distance of about 5700 meters.
On Helbronner tip, the new EVO IMPRESSIVE projectors have been installed, equipped with lenses designed for the occasion.
On the occasion of the passage of the Giro d’Italia (an Italian male road cycling stage race) in Courmayeur, the summit of the highest mountain in Europe was colored pink on the nights of 24-25-26 May, from 22.00 to 24.00.
The lighting has been a way to celebrate the arrival of the Giro d’Italia to the Skyway (a cableway that connects the city of Courmayeur to the tip of the mountain). A technical challenge due to the considerable projection distance, altitude and difficult climatic conditions.
In the testing phase, the glacier was illuminated with white to test the maximum brightness and surface that the projectors could reach.
The entrance to the tunnel was also enhanced with the projection of the official Giro d’Italia logo and the conversion of the bow into pink with Proietta ARCHILED.
