Cities like Como, Gaeta, Montreux, and many others have been enlivened by our 3D Christmas and festive video mappings, capable of enchanting both young and old with engaging atmospheres and fantastic tales. These video mappings feature traditional Christmas and nearby holiday characters, including the ever-present Santa Claus, often accompanied by mischievous elves , engaging in dialogue with each other and with the animated personifications of buildings that serve as the screen for the video mapping. For other festivities, such as Carnival, the animated monuments often wore the typical masks of the city, telling amusing stories or singing carnival songs. Various productions have combined the techniques of gobo mapping and video mapping, a combination that allows for the creation of magical immersive atmospheres at affordable costs.
For the realization of Christmas and festive video mapping, the use of PROIETTA F protective cases is suggested, which allow for the outdoor use of the video projector.

What is video mapping?
By tracing the elements of a facade, it is possible to map the architecture of a building, creating a three-dimensional model of the surface itself, which allows the video projection to interact with the shapes of the structure. With these techniques, it is possible to: transform the appearance of a building through lines, shapes, lights, and projected virtual shadows, with the ability to distort and deform its constituent elements, introduce decorations and ornaments that were originally nonexistent, create animated scenography, and play with the shapes and volumes of the buildings.
